Off to Vancouver!

Hullo! Shhh... be very, very quiet... I am sneaking into Mama's backpack...

I am going to Vancouver!! Yay!! Mama came in during my little sneaking and said I could come! Well, I should think so...

Ahhh... an early morning hot chocolate by the water...

That's the ferry we are going on! It's a great day for a boat ride.

And here we are! I wish I had a fishing rod... I'm sure there are some salmon down there.

And Vancouver is over there somewhere...

There we go... off the ferry and onto a bus. My sekrebeary is not as quick with the camera as Beanie's... I would have liked a picture from the outside but...

So... here we go!

Most of the trip was rather boring... but... this is us going over the Lion's Gate Bridge... at a fair clip I might add.

And we whipped by the Art Gallery which had a big poster that almost looked like it could be a colour display like Beanie saw in London!

And that's it for now... my sekrebeary is going to do some work at the library and I am going to dream of salmon!

  1. What a great idea to sneak into the backpack! Papa loves the Starbuck's early morning coffee photo. We love the idea of fishing for salmon! yum!

  2. I do get good ideas sometimes! I also like that our ferry terminals are progressive enough to have a Starbucks in them (or nearby)...

    1. I agree - there are cleary not enough starbucks in the Northwest. My roommates mother lives in Seattle and there is one corner in her neighborhood where there is a Starbucks on one corner and another Starbucks on the opposite corner.

By the way good job sneaking into the backpack. I agree sometimes you have to take things into your own paw to get it done.

    2. Oh, we have those corners in Vancouver as well!! Starbucks are definitely not hard to find... but finding a comfy chair... now that is a problem!

  3. Papa says every store should have a Starbucks in it, but Ben thinks that is crazy and rolls his eyes. I guess little bears just don't understand the importance of daily coffee yet...now honey and cookies, that is another matter entirely.

    4. Honey, honey, honey!!! I wonder if ABBA had little bears because they wrote a song all about honey!

    5. What a great idea! Maybe we should form our own Bear Band? Sandy and the Honeytones?

    6. I could play the drums!! You guys could sing! I don't think you'd want me to sing... I just have a low bear growl...

  4. Well, Andrea keeps me and the camera in a little pouch on the front of her hoodie.... so whenever we see something interesting, she can just whip me and the camera out for pictures!! But your trip is good....!!

    1. Now that is a good idea! When it is cooler out, Mama will sometimes tuck me inside her jacket, which works well... but I am too big for a hoodie pouch... phooie!

  5. I like to hide in my mom's backpack also! Then I will stick my head out for some air - a little bear has got to breathe you know..

    1. Beary true! I think our humans should get little harnesses, like babies have, so we can ride on their chests (facing the world of course)... or even on their shoulders!

    2. I have a pocket I ride on in my roommates back pack but sometimes I have to share it with other non-fox related items like the camera, bear spray, or bug spray.

    3. Just make sure Ajdin that you have a secret stash of treats and a water bottle in the backpack...a little iPod to listen to music and watch cartoons is also a beary good idea, oh, and a little blanket too.

    4. Hmmm... Little Fox - I think you are more a Beanie Mouse or Hammie Hamster size. Us little bears are a bit too big for pouches. Mind you, I'm not sure I would want to ride around in a pouch with bug dope and bear spray!
