Winter Sweaters

Hullo bears & not-a-bears! Mama's been neglecting me lately... the lot of a little bear... but anyhow. Remember this sweater?

Well, it turns out there were a lot of other little bears hiding around the house who had similar ones! They came out of the Christmas boxes and I hadn't even noticed that their sweaters were more or less my size...

This guy even comes with a toque!

So many possibilities...

Here's the gang... There's even a moose and a little cat in there. Some of them are a tad small for me but... I negotiated with Mama that I get to keep the one sweater that I have... at least for the winter. All these little guys are going back to their Christmas storage place. Mind you... I think some of my stuffies out east could use these sweaters more than I can! It's been beary super duper cold out there!

  1. It looks like a good gang of animals, I really like the moose with the sweater.

My holiday stuffie friends are getting anxious to go back to their storage area. They asked my roommates last night when they get to go back. I wonder why they want to go back so bad....maybe they have parties all year round or special events and trips just for holiday stuffies? I will have to get a detective to research that and see what they are up to.

Before they head back I think I will take them to Starbucks and treat them to the "animal only menu". That way they can have a good snack before heading back to the storage area. Now, the only other thing to think about is what will I have at Starbucks…..tea with extra honey or hot chocolate with huckleberries?

  2. Oh, do you think that's what they do all year long?? Hmmm... ours have already been tucked away in various places. Starbucks has an "animal only menu"?? Really!!! I must see if ours has that. I know that prices have gone up since the Christmas decorations came down... Hot chocolate is definitely the winner, paws down!

    1. They are beautiful and they fit me too! They are from a particular breed of teddy bear (which I didn't write down)... but they all seem to come with sweaters... On the other hand, I just found this site...

    3. It does look interesting! They have clothes for bears 8 to 10 inches tall. Mama quickly squished me up against a ruler and I am right in that range, just a titch over 9 inches... definitely for wardrobe challenged little bears!

    1. You never know... you might find something, although you look quite fetching in your natural fox fur coat. Any luck finding a name?

  5. what beary nice sweaters! I am still asking my mom to get me some clothes. She says I don't need clothes since I have fur and am not really "naked". Uncle Tibbs seems to be okay without clothes, but I think it would be cool to have some.

    1. Well, you know what someone said... clothes make the bear... Although, I think if you can walk around without any clothes and do it with aplomb then you probably don't need any....
