Road Trip 3

Hmmm... I think Mama needs to take a course in coming up with catchy titles for these blog posts... sigh... Anyhow, we left Calgary and drove up north through the Rockies. It was a great trip and the weather was wonderful. I didn't get out much but we did stop at my most favourite mountain - Mount Robson!

Lemme out of the car!!

I need some fresh air!!

Mount Robson is only cloud free about 10 days out of the year and today was clearly not one of those days. But that's OK, I've been here when it has been cloud free...

I even saw a rare site - some Mountain Goats!! I often see Bighorn Sheep in the Rockies but Mountain Goats are rare. If you see them in the spring, they look all moth-eaten because their winter fur is coming out.

But these guys are pretty good looking!

  1. Beary beautiful photos! The photo of you running through the fields with the mountain in the background makes us think of the Sound of Music. Were the hills alive with the sounds of Sandy singing? hehe Ben says he things Sandy needs a hat so that the top of his head doesn't get sunburned. Jerry suggests one of those Canadian Mounty hats--those things are cool!

  4. @Jerry & Ben - Oops! I know... good sekretaries are getting to be hard to find! But I was trying to give Mama some time to catch up with life.

@JoAnn - thanks! It was my last "out of the car" time for the rest of the trip!

  6. Thanks guys! Little bears do need to have regular adventures though otherwise we get cranky... or the humans get cranky cause they don't take us out on regular adventures!
