Sandy the Paleontologist

Wheee... we went down to the beach today... or rather the seashore... there isn't much of a sandy beach there. Anyhow, I was walking along and saw something beary interesting.

This rock... it caught my eye because of it's concentric round shape...

Here's a better picture... Does it remind you of something? Anything??? It is clearly a rock, but it looks a heck of a lot like a cow patty!!! I think it is a fossilized cow patty... Yup, that's what I think. Any other theories out there??

    I bet if you asked Bob T. Bear, he's say it looks like a fossilized bear patty...although it would have to be one beary big bear.

    We think it looks like a couple of big pads of butter sitting on a stack of pancakes with delicious syrup running all over and down the sides. I bet you can guess which one of us, Ben or Jerry, came up with that idea.

    Oh yes... it could be a bear patty too!

    Hmmm... I think the pancake image is a bit of a stretch... but that must be from Jerry!
